dihydroxyacetone (DHA) IS the active ingredient in most sunless tanning products. DHA is a colorless chemical (derived from glycerin) that interacts with the amino acids in dead skin cells to produce a brown color change. Since these dead skin cells are constantly being shed, the color change produced by DHA usually lasts about five to seven days.

At GLO our goal is to provide you will a healthy natural looking tan. (NO ORANGE) You and the technician will review your tan history, skin type, and goals. This will allow us to customize a formula that is just right for you!

You may wear whatever you are comfortable with! Whether that be nude, a bathing suit or disposable thong (provided). DHA is not recommended for internal use, therefor garments must be worn over genital area.

We recommend you wear loose fitting and dark clothing. You do not want clothing that will rub during drying time. Preferably long sleeves and pants. Avoiding skin to skin contact is imperative. Wear flip flops or slipons. Be prepared for rainy weather!

A spray tan will last anywhere from 5-10 days depending on the type of solution used, your skin type, and how well you follow aftercare instructions. A spray tan only effects the outer most layer of the skin. This layer of skin is made up of shedding skin cells. The rate at which you shed will also determine the length of your tan. Moisturizing is key!

Please avoid sweating until after spray tan has been rinsed! Avoid chlorine and hot tubs as it will fade your tan. Though you may go into the ocean, please be aware that sand is an exfoliate. Avoid exfoliating and waxing after your spray tan. Shave as gently as possible and avoid any products containing alcohol or mineral oil. Pat dry after showers.

You must be at least 12 years old with an accompanied parent/guardian to your spray tan appointment. Anyone between the ages of 12-17 will be required to have a parent/guardian sign a release waiver form for the minor.

You should schedule your appointment 2 days prior to your event. Some skin types can take up to 24 hours for full maturation of the DHA.

Please schedule these appointments prior to your spray tan. Pedicures use exfoliators and could ruin the appearance of your tan. Do not schedule the day of your spray tan because creams used could create a barrier for your spray tan causing an uneven color.

Please consult with your doctor prior to scheduling your appointment. An ingredients list may be provided if requested.

Yes! All of our products are from naturally derived ingredients, certified vegan by PETA, Paraben free, Erythrulose free, and Gluten Free. Thy are enriched with Aloe Vera and contain vitamins A, C, and E.

We are happy to email you a list of ingredients at your request. We also offer CBD solutions. When applied topically, CBD is known to soothe skin and provide pain management. (Does not contain THC)

Cannabidiol “CBD” effects the body’s Endocannabinoid system (ECS). ECS is responsible for maintaining the body’s equilibrium. ECS aids in the production of natural cannabinoid in the body and impacts sleep, pain, immune response, hormones, mood, and appetite. When CBD is applied topically it will penetrate through the pores and epidermis, absorb into the body to react with its natural cannabinoid receptors. This results in balanced skin and pain management.

The CBD spray tan is ideal for anyone experiencing:

We have a no refund policy on spray tan services completed. We must be notified within 48 hours of any problems or concerns. Cancellations must be made within 24 hours notice of your scheduled appointment time if you wish to avoid a late cancellation fee. Clients cancelling within less than 24 hours of their scheduled appointment will be required to pay 50% of the service in order to continue booking at GLO. NO SHOWS will be required to pay the full service price. Cancellations must be made via phone or text. A credit card on file is required at time of booking or a 50% deposit made by e-transfer.
